During this time of the year, everywhere you turn you see couples getting all sweet and lovely, looking for gifts for each other. Most movies at the cinemas leave you feeling like the season is all about couples who gaze into each others’ eyes.

Christmas can be a tricky time for singles, so most people assume. There is a new study that suggests a majority of single women and almost half of single men are happy with being single. And just, because you’re single, doesn’t mean that the most wonderful time of the year has to be less wonderful and magical.

It’s actually easy to understand why flying solo means you can have a festive season like no other. Let us list a few reasons why being single during the festive season is the best:

1- No gift Shopping

Some relationships, especially new ones, come with unrealistic gift expectations. Buying the wrong gift can set the tone for the holiday and months to come.

Then it’s nice to not have to fall into this gift -panic trap of the festive season – it’s good to be single. There’s no Christmas shopping stress, with all the uncertainty of “will they like this present?”. Singles can indulge in all their selfish shopping impulses. Buying Christmas gifts for yourself is fun and you will enjoy every single gift.

You can throw yourself into partying and comfort eating… it’s me and more me time. Being single during the festive season is indeed the best.

2- There are no run-ins with in-laws

Being single over Christmas means that there are no run-ins with in-laws. The stress to have to please your in-laws, to have everything ‘perfect’ around the house and to worry about getting the right gift and holding polite conversations. All can add unnecessary stress to this festive season. Sometimes, unfortunately, leading to fights that might ruin the holiday spirit. Being single you don’t have to worry about any of this.

3. Travel

The wonderful thing about being single during the festive season is that you needn’t stay around. You can instead plan to travel abroad. Travelling alone is the best thing you can do, you are free to go anywhere you like. Doing it alone will boost your confidence and will build lasting memories.

4. Party time

Christmas is the party season and as a single, you can take this to the full extent of the meaning -partying. The Christmas period is the best time for being single, there are a lot of parties full of people ordinarily you might not talk to.

During Christmas, the normal rules of dating do not apply. If you are in the mood of romance this is the season for it. Christmas is the ideal time to ask that hot guy for some after-work drinks (wink, wink).

So, get out there and enjoy Christmas while being single.

The good & bad of a summer fling

Summer is the time for fun and carefree living. Going to the beach, outdoor activities and making new friends. Summer is notoriously known for ‘summer flings‘. Summer flings are notoriously short, heated and have a deep imprint in our memories. Know the good & bad of a summer fling.

A summer fling is a brief romance where both parties understand that their time together is going to last during summer only. It may last the entire summer or part of the summer. Or it could be only days, it all depends. A lot of people travel during summer-time and meet someone while travelling.

Why do flings notoriously happen in summer? It might be related to the fact that people feel more relaxed and happy, the weather is warm and the whole environment around you is vibrant, relaxed and you feel alive. That’s why summer romance is more likely to become a summer fling and not a relationship. Although you feel physically attracted there’s the distance that makes it impossible for a relationship to happen. Another reason is that you are wearing ‘summer goggles’ which impermeant almost everything you do during summer. When reality sets in, things are not as ideal as they might have seemed.

Let’s lay out the good & bad of a summer fling.

# Good 1: Summer flings are super romantic

It’s true. Summer is when you feel free, relaxed and non-conformist. In general, you have no real commitments – no university or work commitments. Spending your time however you like. Your dates can start in the morning and flow right into the evening. Starting with a dip in the beach, picnic at the park and watching the sunset on a beach. No work or life schedules sucking away the simple pleasures of being with someone you like.

Bad 1#: Summer flings can instantly suck too

Your summer date can suck real quick. It might have the energy and the explosive passion of a great fling and then have a 360-degree turn. Where your fling goes from showering with attention to going complete ‘radio silence’ and ignoring you. Not nice, nobody deserves to be treated like that – have some decency and give them closure. Don’t turn a happy memory into a sad memory people. Just say you’re not interested and it’s finished because it’s not like there was a whole lot of emotional investment.

# Good 2: Summer flings make you feel alive

There’s nothing like a summer fling to make you live in the present and feel alive every minute of the day. With the knowledge that this is a short-lived romance, summer flings make you focus on the moment. Living in the moment is the best part of a summer fling.

# Bad 2: Might not spend time with friends and family

This might happen but not always. Summer flings can absorb your every energy potentially distracting you from family and friends. The nature of summer fling can get you wrapped in the fling and neglect your family and friends. Remember that family and friends are always there for you so make a mental note to spend time with them too.

# Good 3: Summer flings create lifelong memories

Summer flings are generally a positive experience and because of its brevity and the strong connection you had with the person, they remain with us. How could you forget a time when you were having fun and having a blast with someone you connected with strongly.

# Bad 3: Some summer flings make bad memories

Yes, summer flings are light and fun connections and some people like to have multiple connections at the same time. There’s always a chance that the other person is seeing someone else. Disappointment might ensue and instead, you’ll feel hard done for. Try to be on the same page and have the conversation early on if you want an ‘exclusive’ summer fling.

# Good 4: Summer flings make us feel awesome

Summer flings are great at any age and can happen to anyone regardless of age. Summer flings make us feel awesome because we take chances and live freely. They bring renewed energy. You feel a spring in your step that is ageless.

# Bad 4: They are fleeting moments

Summer flings are like living in a dream, where you know that once reality steps in it’s all over. The hardest part of a fling is saying goodbye. Although you both knew that this wonderful fling was going to end quickly. All summer flings have a bittersweet finish. Despite it, summer flings are worth it for how they make you feel and all the renewed hope in love.

Here’s a short video on how to manage your summer fling:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=gjghxXDfGUE

If you’re faced with the decision of whether you want to dive in and have your ‘summer fling’. Dive in, although you know you might have to deal with some drama, it’s all worth it. Life is meant to be lived and as such there’ll be good experiences and bad experiences, but all teach us something about ourselves and others.

There are several pivotal points in any relationship that will test its endurance and indicate whether or not it is going to last. From meeting their friends, the first fart, living together, or realising that they have never watched the Simpsons, none will test your strength as a couple quite so much as travelling together. High stress, little sleep, hunger and new experiences tend to bring out the worst in people. You’ll swiftly discover whether or not you can deal with your partner when they turn into a jet-lagged, hangry temperamental echo of the person that you love. Here are 6 reasons why travelling together is the best test for your relationship.

Compatibility of fundamental values

Travelling together will help you to decide what you truly connect on, and whether your core values align. If your primary objective of lounging by the pool all day (cocktail in hand), makes your partner itch with boredom. While their idea of climbing the nearest mountain, sounds like of the 7th layer of hell to you, you may have yourselves a problem.

This incompatibility does not necessarily mean the doom of a relationship. So long as you are able to reach compromises together. Find activities you will both enjoy, or allow time apart to explore your own interests. Strict unwavering in this regard may be a red flag that you’re just not going to work out, which brings me to the next point.

Communication under stress

We tend to lash out when we are stressed. Calm and respectful communication is tantamount to a healthy relationship. You might find yourself in situations that you feel are the other person’s fault and wish to lay blame or lash out. However, it’s resisting the urge to do this and instead communicating openly and problem-solving as a team which will bring you together.

Let me give you an anecdote from my own experience travelling with my partner:

It’s 12 am, we have just finished a night safari in New Zealand, and we haven’t figured out how we are going to get home. We walk to the bus station and wait, and wait some more. 30 minutes pass and we realise, the bus is not coming. My partner turns to me and suggests that we start walking. I agree, and as we get no more than 5 minutes down the road, the bus zooms past, and we have missed it.

We now find ourselves faced with an hour and a half trek down a mountainside, and note at this point, neither of us have eaten dinner. Every step down this hill wearing stupid shoes only increases the ever-growing hangry rage boiling in us both. We eventually find ourselves back at the hotel with a single mission; eat something before we murder each other. We get into to car in search of a drive through (Spoiler alert: we were staying in the CBD, this was a stupid idea). After fruitlessly driving for another 15 minutes we drive the car back to the hotel and walk out into the cold, sniffing the air for any sign of food nearby.

At this point I’m so hungry I could lick the pavement. We reached the closest fast food place and I nearly cried as I read that it has closed, after some swift googling we almost ran to the next place. I swear a tear of joy crept out of my eye as we walked into the restaurant at 2 am. As I sat, finally placated and fed and watched my partner devour that burger like a starved wildebeest I realised, this is the one.

This was without a doubt an extremely high-stress situation that could have led to an argument or an opportunity to dole out blame. But we both (relatively) kept our cool, and it remains one of my favourite relationship stories.

Forced time together

Aside from holiday situations, couples will rarely find themselves spending extended periods of time with each other in close quarters. Autonomy and personal space are important in any relationship, but while travelling you’ll find yourselves stuck together with no means of escape. This is a great assessment to determine if you truly enjoy each other’s company for longer than a few hours at a time. When you take a person out of their natural habitat, it is a test of their ability to adapt to new situations. Will they crack under pressure, or do they keep a cool head? It’s a time for you to decide whether your partner’s quirks or endearing or deal breaking.

Shared Problem solving

If you have had a travelling experience where not a single thing has gone wrong, congratulations, you’ve won the holiday lottery! For the rest of us mere mortals, we know that regardless of how well planned, or painstakingly organised you are, something somewhere is going to go wrong. Cars break down, flights are delayed, or you find yourselves lost in a foreign country. It’s these moments that can define how you problem solve as a couple. Can you come to a shared agreement on the best course of action or will you disagree until the situation dissolves into a fight? Solving problems together and feeling satisfied with the outcome can bring you closer as a couple, and also grant insight into how you might solve problems together further down the track.

You challenge each other’s limits

This is the time to try new things together and to test each other’s limits. Foreign experiences will allow you to learn what is and what is not for you. You might find yourself yelling ‘AGAIN!’ after zip lining through a forest, or maybe you’ll be in the foetal position crying ‘never again’. New experiences together let us learn things about our partner we might never have had to opportunity to learn otherwise. You’ve discovered they hated zip lining? Better cross skydive voucher off the list of potential Christmas gifts. New and exciting experiences, even terrifying ones give you a shared bond that you’ll always have together.

And Finally

Hotel sex = incredible

Breakups and how to deal with them

Whether you have been together three months or three years, break-ups leave us feeling heartbroken. Any breakup is difficult, especially when it’s unexpected. While there is no walking away from the pain there are steps you can take to deal with the pain.

1.Bloke them from your social media

From day one, bloke them from Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform. This way you stop from checking on what they are doing and vice versa and ultimately prolonging the pain of the split. it’s time to move forward and not dwell in the past.

2. Write it down

Writing your feelings down is a good strategy for dealing with your emotions and thoughts you are experiencing, helping you move on to the next stage of acceptance. Breakups bring feelings of anger, sadness, rejection and feelings of loneliness when writing them down you move on and process those feelings clearly. Remember that you both of you played a part in the breakup, it’s not all your fault.

3. Look after yourself

During this period it’s more important than ever to get active. Getting active and staying active will help you stay fit and clear your head. In addition, you’ll diminish negative effect of the stress caused by the breakup. After a while, you’ll look better and feel better too gaining a boost of confidence when you least expected. The best revenge is to look great or better than you used to.

4. Remind yourself of all the positive things in your life

Avoid the negative feelings of your breakup spilling over the rest of your life. So make a list of all the positive things in your life. Turn your mind to the positive things in your life – friends, family, and your work.

5. Plan a trip

Even if you know that this is not feasible in the very short term, plan a trip in the next year. The excitement of planning a trip will get your mind off your breakup and focus on the new adventure you will be having.

6. Do things you love

Now that you are single and don’t have to compromise, go do the things that you always wanted to, go watch a chick flick, catch up with your friends or take up hiking. Anything that before was complicated because you’d encounter objections.

Although breakups are hard, they give you a chance to focus on things you wanted to do and give you a chance to think about who you are, what you want and to build a better you. After a period of healing, start thinking about putting yourself out there because the one for you is out there.

Germany wants everyone to know that the locals are there to be railed by foreign tourists. The government is actively encouraging fornication between the locals and tourists, and they’re so amped up on Germans fucking foreigners that they’ve just dropped $136,000 on a sex-ed website designed to educate travelers in the art of seduction and love.

This website was created by the German Federal Center for Health Education and it’s being specifically targeted at foreigners, according to UPI. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect on Zanzu:

The website Zanzu offers up information on how to court locals, interact with them, and the best ways to broach the topic of hiznitting the skizzins (bumpin’ uglies). There’s even some information in there, as you can see above, on how to have sex with a pregnant woman (audio included).

At a time when half of America’s politicians are attempting to defund Planned Parenthood it’s almost shocking to see the Germany government create a website entirely designed to offer free sex education, a site that encourages fornication, and I have to say that I’m impressed. Can you even imagine a politician in America proposing something like this? They’d get skewered alive by their buttoned up counterparts and laughed off Capitol Hill…which is sad, I think. It would be nice if hot Swedish and German women showed up in America armed with the knowledge of how to get American bros into bed, wouldn’t it? Tell me it wouldn’t be awesome to have these German women showing up looking for sweet love?

RedHotPie was a proud sponsor of The Aussie Swingers’ 2016 tour to one of the biggest lifestyle events on the planet – Naughty in N’awlins. We asked the two intrepid lifestyle reporters – and long-time RedHotPie members – to travel to the Deep South and bring back all the juicy details to us! Here’s what they had to say…

WOW! That is the only way to describe Naughty in N’awlins 2016.

The RedHotPie/Aussie Swingers contingent came, saw and conquered (or more accurately, saw, conquered and came) at the largest Lifestyle convention in the world.

Never heard of it? You have now!

For 18 years now, French Connection Events have been running Naughty in N’awlins, a lifestyle convention in the incredible city of New Orleans. This year was the biggest ever and saw over 2100 + sexy people descend on the Astor Crowne Plaza for 5 days of not only the most epic parties and sexy playrooms, but seminars, workshops and education.

So big was the convention this year, that an additional 200 rooms were secured at a hotel across the road and many other late bookers had to reserve rooms at other neighbouring hotels.

Our incredible group of Aussies were a real hit with everyone at the convention and everyone made many new friends both in and outside of the bedroom. Everyone loves an Aussie and our group also included couples from the US who wanted to travel with us to join in the fun. The RedHotPie/Aussie Swingers gift bag was the envy of everyone at the convention…

It included RedHotPie bikinis, boxers, lip balm, bottle opener, Aussie Swingers condoms, lube, beads, vibrator, name necklaces and pasties, Our Secret Spot temporary tattoos and glow in the dark slap bands, a tank top from The Swinger Cruise and a great beach bag from SexyAdultVacations.com. We thank all our incredible sponsors who provided this killer ‘swag’ and made our presence known.

Hear about it on our podcast 24, 25 and 26. Subscribe in iTunes or simply listen on our website.

I ask you, if you are in the Lifestyle or just curious, when was the last time you participated in Lifestyle education?

I know before we began travelling to these events, we hadn’t explored some of the most important and fundamental aspects of the Lifestyle. As a couple, we sometimes get in a comfort zone or sexual rut and we love being challenged by other people’s thoughts and opinions and even from this convention, there were things we thought we’d never be interested in but have now decided we’d like to explore more.

Some of the over 40 seminars included:

– How to Politely Say No

– G-spot Orgasms & Prostate Pleasure

– Basic Rope Bondage Technique

– Not All Women Are Bi and Not All Men Are Straight

– Overcoming Jealousy and Fears

– Domination/Submission as Therapy

– The Art of Touch and Non Verbal Communication

– How to Throw a Lifestyle Party

The most liberating thing about Naughty in N’awlins is that as Aussies, you can live the Lifestyle openly for a week without any fear of being found out, which is often something we can’t do back home. The closest you can really come to doing this here is Passion in Paradise run by Kat Parties (it’s a sell out every year!).

We are pleased to announce we will be returning to Naughty in N’awlins in 2017 (click for more details about what to expect!). We already have a number couples booked to join us next year. We’d love you to join us too and be part of this amazing event once again! It is a long way to go, we get it, but if you can make it part of a longer vacation and visit some other parts of the US or Mexico it can be worth the travel. Work on bumping up your frequent flyer points for it and reduce the cost of flights.

Now I want to clear up exactly who would benefit and enjoy this convention. It is a Lifestyle convention, meaning people who enjoy alternate sexual lifestyles or people who are sex positive, sexually open minded, people who are curious about different sexual preferences, those into kink, Swinger, voyeurs, exhibitionists and everyone in between.

Read more about it on The Aussie Swingers website or email us on our RedHotPie profile for more information.

FOR most of us, getting down and dirty at a festival is more to do with energetic dancing and a lack of shower and toilet facilities.

But for visitors to Burning Man Festival in Nevada desert’s Black Rock City, the term has a far more sexual connotation.

Among the attractions at the yearly event, which sees tens of thousands of people gather for at least a week of rebellious mayhem, is the Orgy Dome.

Run by a group called And Then There’s Only Love, the 24-hour giant tent is billed as a safe, “sex-positive, consensual space for couples and moresomes to play”, welcoming “the combination of love in all forms”.

Everyone’s invited – regardless of whether you’re straight, lesbian, gay, bi, poly-amorous or monogamous.

More than 5,000 people enjoyed the delights of the Dome at last year’s festival, with couples reportedly queuing up to go inside. According to one Reddit user and frequenter at the festival venue, the Orgy Dome has a “nice set up, clean towels and cushions, and moderate climate control”.

The door is always staffed and you must be with a partner to enter, though some partner swapping has been known.

The Redditer added: “Inside is generally not a writhing pile of 10 or 15 naked bodies as the name might suggest.

“Usually the dome is occupied by couples, with some threesomes and moresomes.

“There are some people watching on the edges, voyeurism and having an audience are definitely in play here, so know that going in.

“If someone is bothering you, most of the time they’ll stop when you ask, although the tent staff is happy to help resolve any uncomfortable problems that may arise.”

As well as old-fashioned orgies, the Orgy Dome is fully equipped with massage tables, mattresses lining the walls, sheets, couches and supplies including lubricants and condoms.

There are also classes on sadomasochism, group erotic massage and theme nights, ranging from threesome specials to competitions for the ‘loudest moaners’.

One visitor told Cosmopolitan that consent to play in the Dome is an absolute necessity.

She said: “If you ask if you can play with a couple, you’d still need to ask, ‘Can I touch your breasts?’, ‘Can I go down on you?’, ‘Can I f*** you both in the butt?’.

“Consent is an active process and can be removed at any point.

Watch the couple behind the Orgy Dome:

It’s no secret that sex sells.

Now get ready for blowjobs at coffee shops. Yeah, it’s a real thing.

At the end of this year, a new café in Switzerland, which will be named “Fellatio Café” when it opens in Geneva, will offer Oral sex with your coffee .

The firm behind the Swiss café, Facegirl, says customers will be able to order coffee, then select a sex worker of their choice from an iPad to give them a blowjob.

The idea is based on similar cafés in Thailand, which have existed for the past 20 years – but coffee with fellatio doesn’t come cheap.

Just how much will this combo set you back? 60 Swiss francs, or about $80 Australian dollars. This most likely will make it one of the most expensive coffee breaks in Europe, especially as there’s an additional five franc surplus for the drink itself.

But whether the city of Geneva is ready for coffee with a side of oral sex… well that’s a whole other matter.

As expected, critics blasted the proposal, claiming only developers would benefit from the business, but alas, prostitution is legal in Switzerland as long as the sex workers have permit. So why wouldn’t they open a café where you can get a cup of coffee with a blowjob on the side?

Maybe winter in Switzerland sounds like a good place to warm up with a cup of coffee.

So it’s something to look forward to.

Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao is a mega-successful Vietnamese entrepreneur who is set to become one of the world’s richest people, thanks to her brilliant idea of staffing an airline with bikini-clad babes.

Thao, who made her first million at 21 trading fax machines and latex rubber, started really raking it in when she replaced VietJet Air’s flight attendants with ai wearing ridiculously sexy outfits.

The company, Vietnam’s only privately-owned airline, is about to go public boosting the 45-year-old Thao’s fortune to $1.37 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

In just a few years the titillating transporter, whose new motto is “Enjoy Flying!”, has gobbled up over 30 per cent of the airline market share in Vietnam.

In a further masterstroke, Thao’s has boosted profits by publishing eye-popping calendars starring the sexy stewardesses, which also act as a marketing tool for the airline, which mostly flies to resort destinations within Vietnam and its surrounding environs. Thao dismisses any criticism of her bikini-fueled business as old-fashioned and irrelevant.

“You have the right to wear anything you like, either the bikini or the traditional ao dai,” she has said, referring to the traditional Vietnamese loose tunics worn over pants.

“We don’t mind people associating the airline with the bikini image. If that makes people happy, then we are happy….

And so is her bank account.

FLIGHT attendants can open the toilet doors from the outside to interrupt frisky couples who romp in the lavatory during a trip.

While flying abroad, writer, Catriona Harvey-Jenner queried whether many couples actually ‘join’ the mile high club and was shocked when a British Airways host confirmed they do.

Catriona took to Reddit to uncover how flight attendants interrupt people having sex on the plane.

A Reddit user commented: “I dated a flight attendant for a while. She said that what they would sometimes do is just unlock the door from the outside and walk away.

“The couple would then often knock the door open mid-coitus and fall out.”

One airline worker rounded up other passengers to publicly shame a couple: “On a flight to Switzerland a couple of years ago, there was a couple who ‘mile-high clubbed’ a couple of times over the course of the flight.

“The final time was right before breakfast was being served, and the flight attendant had everyone on the plane give them a round of applause for being the most consistent passengers she had ever seen.”

Another person, who claims to works as ground crew at airports, said it is “not unknown to find crew members shagging in the bathroom between flights”.

Another flight attendant caught a pair trying to “get down” in the galley.

She wrote: “I had a couple ask if they could stand in the galley for a few minutes to stretch their legs.

“They were very polite, and I said sure and went back to reading my book.

“I made it halfway down the page, when I heard her moaning, and I turned and looked and the guy had her pinned up against my coffee makers with his hand up her shirt.

“I promptly told them to remove themselves from the galley and either finish up in the lav, or head back to their seats and keep their hands to themselves.

“If I can’t get it on in my galley, no one can get it on in my galley.”
