Summer is the best time to meet someone

Summers are actually the best time to meet people organically, as more people are out and about. The best part is, “getting out there” doesn’t necessarily have to mean going completely out of your way to meet a special someone.

Go out simply with the intention to have fun and make new friends. If more happens – bonus.

Whether at the shops, at a coffee shop or at the gym, be open and relaxed because meeting someone can happen anywhere.

So here are the best places to meet someone during the summer:

1. The beach

It’s summer and being at the beach is a fav hangout for many people. The likelihood to meet someone special is possible. Lot’s of singles on uni breaks or on holidays will swarm the beach and therefore is a great place to strike a conversation with a total stranger.

2. Going on a holiday

Take advantage of your city’s summer events.  Open-air cinemas and free concerts are great opportunities to make eye contact and start conversations with people who have similar taste in movies and music. This can be a great organic way to meet people.

4. Outdoor concerts and music festivals

There is something about music and people in an ecstatic state that breaks social barriers and allows people to come together. In summer the days are longer so take a good old fashion walk around your neighbourhood. If you have a  dog or take a stroll with a friend and go for a coffee. People out tend to reach out, say hello and start a conversation when you are relaxed and open.
