A SEX mad beaver has left a 32km trail of destruction in his hunt for a lover – gnawing his way through entire trees in his orgy of frustration. The buck-toothed rodent escaped from his reserve, where he is kept under a license in the UK, The Daily Star reports.
And he has gnawed his way through the countryside in a bid to build the perfect dam to attract a female.
The 38kg beast fled his enclosure in Devon six weeks ago along with two females – which were soon recaptured.
He has now made it 32kms to Cornwall, in his randy quest and the beaver’s conservationist owner Derek Gow, 43, said he is proving difficult to catch.
Derek said: “Beavers haven’t lived here since the 13th century so beaver traps are in short supply.”
