Folks boned in ancient times and folks will continue to do so until the end of times. In general, and as history shows, humans like to bone, and a lot. Today, we’re total prudes compared to our ancestors.

Porn, today gets a lot of bad rap, but the truth is that widespread sexual visualisation is not a recent thing. There were erotic books, drawings and sculptures that have depicted human sexual behaviour throughout history.

There’s a myth that people have become more promiscuous or sexually amoral as time has gone by. But we’re total prudes comparing to our ancestors.

A lot of modern pornography is made not just to help people get off, but to help them get off in a more fulfilling way. Pornography can help couples improve their sex lives and can help to improve marriages.

Of course, as in all things Internet, there is also a lot of bad porn out there, including images depicting violent acts between non-consenting parties, but that’s not the type of porn majority of folks like to indulge in.

Our human sexual habits aren’t much different now from what they were in Victorian England, medieval Japan, imperial Rome or ancient Africa. We’re people, and we like to bone. A lot. And here’s the evidence.

Ancient India

As far back as 3,500 BC, Indians have documented sex acts in their religious texts. Hinduism was the first to introduce sexuality in a scientific way, effectively acting as the first sex ed. Religion literally used to help people have better, hotter sex.

In the Vedas, the oldest scriptures of the Hindu religion, we see sex show up a lot. It didn’t just mention “traditional” types of sex, it featured acts of homosexuality among the gods and the presence of transgender deities. Ardhanarisvara, for example, is the expression of transgender properties in the form of a deity.

The Kama Sutra

The Kama Sutra offers advice on improvement of one’s sex life, including numerous position guides. This book ties up how the pursuit of sexual pleasure ties into the pursuit of love and happiness.

The Kama Sutra acknowledges that sex is an inevitable and vital part of human existence, and does not attach any shame to the act of lovemaking. This seems to me, as well as to a significant population of the world, to be both the correct and healthy attitude toward sex.

Like the Kama Sutra, a lot of modern pornography is made not just to help people get off, but to help them get off in a more fulfilling way.

To help people embrace and improve their sexuality and, by consequence, their love lives.

According to the Scientific American, pornography helps couples improve their sex lives and can help to improve marriages

The Romans

The Romans who lived their lives by the principles of Stoicism, sex was a wonderful thing “if enjoyed between people who maintained the principles of respect and friendship; in the ideal society, sex should be enjoyed freely, without bonds of marriage that treated the partner as property.” Sounds a whole lot like modern ideas of sexual equality and feminism, huh?
It’s not that Stoics and other Romans were encouraging people to become evil, adulterous fiends? The idea this concept expresses is a lot closer to the sexual equality associated today with polyamory and even swinging.

They also publicly displayed statues and frescos of threesomes, homosexuality and lots of oral sex.

Sex toys

Another way we know that people’s sexual behaviours haven’t changed that much over time is that we’ve found plenty of archaeological evidence of ancient sex toys. And we’re talking really ancient? Archaeologists once found a 28,000-year-old dildo in Germany.

Victorian England

Thanks to the fine people on Tumblr and Instagram we bring you a scandalous peep show from Victorian ear to prove to you that porn and visualisation of sex was a thing. The photo below proves that booty- eating has been in vogue since …..forever.

So yeah, our prehistoric ancestors were sitting on dildos, jerking off while looking sexual pictures and having sex just as much as we do today.

So we can say with some certainty that people’s sexual behaviours haven’t changed much.

People love to blame the modern proliferation of pornography on some phantom “increase in promiscuity,” but history tells us that sex has been something we’re all curious about and enjoy having lots of.

According to a number of studies, men in long relationships often underestimate how much their wives and girlfriends want sex.

Researchers at University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario studied 229 couples with an average relationship of six years, aged 18 to 68, who reported having sex an average of one to two times a week.

The couples documented their general sexual desire, perception of their partner’s sexual desire, and their satisfaction with their relationship via journal over the course of three weeks, or went into the lab and reported those same factors in person.

Researchers found that, on a regular basis, men significantly under-perceived the degree of their female partners’ sexual desire, while women consistently made accurate judgments about how much their male partners wanted sex.

What is interesting though, is that among the couples who kept a journal for the study, women rated their relationship satisfaction higher on days when their lover didn’t realise they were horny, suggesting men are better boyfriends when they can’t tell whether she’s in the mood or not.

In other words, a man will try harder to please his female partner if he thinks she’s not responding to his advances, which keeps him from taking the relationship for granted and getting lazy. Another likely explanation for male sexual under-perception might be fear of rejection. This last one makes sense as fear of rejection is one of the strongest human fear. By just not initiating sex, he’s preserving his ego.

However, men aren’t the only ones to blame for this false perception. Often, women aren’t as overt in their advances for sex, or may be embarrassed to ask for sex, which might be a reason why men have trouble gauging their interest.

This study suggests then that the concept of sex drive is moulded mostly by sociocultural forces. High time that we throw away the assumption that women are going to be the lower-desire partner.

How do we stop this from continuing to happen?

There is a simple solution to all this!!

As we all know the key to any successful sexual relationship, long or short term, is clear and open communication. In addition, to communicating your desires, learn each others turn-ons especially when you are trying to initiate sex.

Sex

Sex is great. Sex is part of our human making – psychological & emotional, physical and social. Sex is a beautiful thing, it’s the only time you are connected with someone with your mind and soul.

We all Love it. We all want it. We all eventually have it.

In recent years a whole movement has taken place, where more women are owning their sexuality, their pleasure and desires. Women for centuries have had this struggle between their inner desires and social expectations. Women, unlike men, had not enjoyed the freedom of expressing their sexuality.

Hence, social and cultural restrains had the biggest effect on women’s sexuality. So much so that women in the 1800s were believed to not have any sexual libido. In the 1900s women were encouraged not to be sexual even with their husbands.

Despite urges from the body, the mind interprets what society will accept and deems appropriate or not. Social pressure has held powerful sway over the mind’s attitude toward women’s desire for centuries. Women have been told for centuries that enjoying sex is slutty and whorish, enough, don’t allow antiquated sexual attitudes stop you from exploring and enjoying your body and sexuality.

With modern tendencies towards sexual freedom eroding traditional attitudes towards women’s sexuality, here are what women need to do to have sex like men do. What follows are 6 reasons why more women are having sex like men!

     1. Own Your Libido

Women have a high libido; they just need to free themselves from all the social and cultural attitudes that too often dampen their desires. Women need to allow themselves to feel lust, desire, and to enjoy sex. Women need to make sex about them, about their pleasure and need to learn to meet their own needs.

2. Own All Your Different Orgasms

Women not only can have more orgasms than men but they also experience a number of different orgasms. Women can have a clitoral orgasm, vaginal orgasm, multiple orgasm, G-spot, breast orgasm, squirting orgasm, some women can also have a mental orgasm. In short, women are orgasmic creatures who for the vast majority have been afraid to embrace their sexuality. As you can see their potential is enormous. Leaves any experienced male feeling a little jealous and slightly overwhelmed. Yes, this is the reason why many savvy vixens love gangbangs where they know they can reach all of these orgasms in one night.

     3. Realise That Men Love Sexual Women

Confident women speak about their sexuality and aren’t afraid to act on their desires. The frowns and the looks, even the occasional ‘slut-shaming’ utterances are for the most yawn-fest and boring. Celebrities such as Amy Shumer, and Miley Cyrus , who are unapologetic about their sexuality. Mainstream TV series of the looks of Orange Is The New Black, RHP and Tinder and other media influences are pushing the boundaries and changing the way we think about women’s sexuality. Men love sexual women because they know what they like in bed and love sex as much as they do. Finally, men can be honest about sex with a partner who is not going to be horrified at the many facets of sexuality and sexual possibilities. A sexually confident woman is the best asset a man can have in his life journey.

     4. Sexual Experience Makes You A Sex Diva

How can a woman possibly be good at sex or even know what she likes or dislikes about sex when she has had no experience? To understand, enjoy and know your turn on and offs, you need to have sex and go so far as to say have had a few sexual partners. To be queen between the sheets, you need to embrace your wants and needs to be totally authentic in bed. Only through exploration do you get the knowledge and a set of skills that will provide you and your partner pleasure. If you are already in a relationship, explore with your partner, watch porn, play with sex toys, indulge in self-play, become a swinger or anything that your fancy takes you. You will not discover if you are straight vanilla, or have a kinky side or bi-curious until you go out there and play.

      5. Sex Will Help You Meet Your Compatible Partner

Most women have the perception that they should hold off sex until they meet their life partner. That if they do have sex too often this act only will destroy their chance of a serious relationship. Nothing is further from the truth, being who you are sexually is very sexy and attractive. No man who loves sex wants to commit to a relationship with a woman who doesn’t understand and enjoy sex. Who doesn’t know her body and how it best has pleasure.

     6. Sex Is An Endurance Sports

Sex is an endurance sports, you need to practice harnessing your stamina. To keep your body at optimum and to get to know your body’s ability get in the gym, get active. Think of exercise as a means to get better at sex. No red-blooded male enjoys a ‘corpse’ next to him, unless that’s a fetish of his, otherwise an active and enthusiastic lover is what we all desire.

Don’t expect everyone to accept the openness of your sexuality because at the end is not about what people think about you or your sex life but about how you feel about your body, your sexuality and about fulfilling and exploring your sexuality.

With women embracing their sexuality, sex between women and men can only get better. Women will feel free to explore, to let go of their inhibitions and men will enjoy having partners who will be fulfilled and happy. Be a traditional (vanilla) girl with a swirl of slut, exactly how nature intended women to be.

Fancy a ride inside a giant penis? Want to fake an orgasm in front of 4,000 people? How about entering a stripping comp? You can do all this at the Brisbane Sexpo this week; plus, if you’ve dreamt of a career in compèring, this is your chance to put it on the line – Sexpo is looking for someone to host next year’s show.

Ofcourse the hottest part of Sexpo is always the RedHotPie.com.au Sex Sessions stand, where you can hear sexperts giving you the good oil on all things sex and relationships, as well as snapping free pics with the stunning RedHotPie party girls and guys in front of the ever-busy RHP Paparazzi wall.

Sexpo director David Ross came up with the idea for an adult event that mingled sex and entertainment back in 1995, and he promises that this year’s Sexpo is brand spanking new.

And apart from the obvious universal appeal of the Fake an Orgasm and Amateur Strip events, there’s a chance to see how good UK reality TV star James Tindale looks in real life – as well as his Geordie Shore co-star Sophie Kasaei. The pair are heading to Brisbane for Sexpo, giving the public a chance to get a photo and meet the sexually charged twosome in person.

Adult store merchandise will be on exhibit and for sale, and you can pick up showbags – if you can’t decide what to get, there’s a mystery bag. There’s fetish clothing and footwear and a hair and make-up station where punters can glam up.

“We’ve got a $150,000 stage and then we spend another fifty grand on talent going on the stage, that’s everything from Bad Boys Australia to female troupes and audience participation,” Ross says.

“The amateur strip show on Friday and Saturday night is something no one should miss. It’s rare that we don’t get half a dozen males and females up, usually more, and it’s a site to behold. The audience love it and for the people it’s their five minutes of glory because they’ve got an audience of up to 4,000 and they’re on a fantastic stage.” Ross says there’s a form to enter the strip show on the website, but admits many people make a spur of the moment decision to Magic Mike it.

The Shafter is a giant penis you can get inside for – ahem – a ride. “It used to be a fairground rocket,” Ross says. “People come out laughing; and I have heard that people get a bit amorous in there as well – it’s all dark!” After that, there’s the Fake an Orgasm event: “Couples get up on stage, all kinds of couples and sexualities – friends, lovers – and they’re encouraged to fake an orgasm. People have an absolute laugh.”

Brisbane’s reputation for being a tad prudish means up until now there’s been no nudity on stage. “However, we have negotiated, and this is the first time in Brisbane’s history that we’re allowed full nudity on stage,” Ross reveals. The event is governed by an adult entertainment license, with strict controls on who can enter, so leave the kids at home.

“It’s great to walk into a room and look around at 4,000 people and think, well I’m not the only one who is interested in finding out about my sexuality,” Ross says. “You see people of all ages and persuasions; I’ve seen Muslims walking around with headwear on, and older people – it’s a melting pot of all kinds, and it’s a bit of fun.

Sexpo may change someone’s life this year: the compère search could offer a great start to anyone who thinks they have the gift of the gab. “We’re looking for submissions from people who have some experience in emceeing and compèring, and we’ll have our professionals to walk them through,” Ross says. “We’ll fly these people to our Melbourne show later in the year and the winner will be the major compère in the Brisbane show next year.”

Those interested in BDSM can wander through the Fetish & BDSM zone run by The Salon, where there will be Shibari demonstrations by Lucero. And one last thing: Pricasso will be there too, just in case you would like your portrait painted by this… er… seminal artist.

Sexpo – the Health, Sexuality and Lifestyle Exhibition, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, August 20 – 23, 2015. For program details and tickets go to sexpo.com.au

The recent murder suicide in Brisbane is more notable than others for the drama it offers a cynical public, desensitised and indifferent to the violence women face. It has the victim’s sexuality questioned and almost pulverising the tragedy.

In a desperate act to engage their audience, the media has then moved away from inured and indifference of the very alarming issue of domestic violence, and found a new angle of engagement – scrutinising the victim over her sexuality.

The reporting took a horrific turn when journalists turned their attention to the victim, Mayang Prasetyo, describing her as a ‘transgendered prostitute’ and underlining her Indonesian heritage before tearing through her social media to find pictures of her that fuse and exacerbate their depiction of her.

Suddenly, are we to take less compassion on such a violent act towards a fellow human? Mayang Prasetyo, was first and foremost a fellow human being, who strived for happiness and who had aspiration for a better future.

What does this manner of reporting; assuming journalists saw this angle as the only means to get our attention on the subject, say about our culture? That Prasetyo was most prominently defined as a prostitute and a transgender? Prasetyo suffered at the hands of a man she trusted and was in a relationship with and not as a result of a hate crime relating to her occupation.

The powerful words that swayed an audience to attention were; ‘shemale’, ‘prostitute’, and ‘hooker wife’. Words that single out people by underlining what makes them different in the eyes of the majority, reducing their humanity and removing them from our compassionate eyes. These words to a degree render her murder less violent and almost justifiable.

Prasetyo, was described as someone away from the conservative view of who we hold to deserve compassion, maybe even justice and assume quite comfortably that Prasetyo’s failure to comply perhaps contributed to the tragedy. This then follows into the fallacy that it is the job and the gender identity that kills. However, the truth in Prasetyo’s case it was neither her job or her gender that killed her, it was her beloved partner who decided to kill her.

Are we to stand to be judged and scrutinised over our sexuality?

All the single ladies take note: the modern-day chastity belt has finally arrived in the form of a bra.

That’s right. Japanese scientists with a lot of time on their hands have created a bra that only unhooks when your heart rate reaches a certain level.

The ‘True Love Tester’ will measure a woman’s heart rate to determine if she is sexually interested in her partner and it’s only when the woman hits the ‘Heart Rate of Love’ that the bra can be unhooked.

In a sexually explicit ad for the bizarre product, a ‘human sexuality expert’ explains that “when women fall in love they experience an instant boost in excitement. That feeling is unlike another other excitement we encounter in life.”

At this stage the bra is not for sale and is only being road-tested on a select few couples in Japan, which is bad news for guys looking for a particularly frustrating Valentine’s Day present.

At some point during your time on RedHotPie or in the wider community, you may have wondered what it actually means for a person to be transgendered. What is Transgenderism?...

At some point during your time on RedHotPie or in the wider community, you may have wondered what it actually means for a person to be transgendered. What is Transgenderism? Is a transgendered or transsexual person male, or female, or both? Or neither? In Thailand, transgendered (or trans) people are considered the third sex, which might be a convenient label for some trans people but it probably doesn’t suit the individual situation of most others.

Indeed, there is still a lot of confusion around the different terms to identify trans people, along with an overall lack of education and understanding of the issues that trans people face in their day-to-day lives.

One article can’t possibly cover all aspects of transgenderism but we’ll have a go at identifying aspects that are perhaps relevant to the RedHotPie community, dispel some myths, and put some of the basics into a nutshell.

Trans Terminology

One important thing to get clear is terminology. There’s a tendency to use some terms interchangeably when they can mean entirely different things.

Firstly, ‘trans’ itself means to change. So if someone is a transsexual, that person has changed the sex that they were assigned at birth. If a person who was born biologically male (ie – One X chromosome, one Y chromosomes and one penis) but decides later that they feel they should have been born biologically female, they take whatever steps necessary to change their sex (transitioning). Some transsexual people will go as far as gender reassignment surgery, whereas others will opt to only take hormones to effect sex change. Some people may not do anything at all and this brings us to transgenderism.

While largely similar in concept to transssexualism, people who are transgendered are more focused on the change in gender than their bodily bits. Their interest is in being recognised by the gender they identify with rather than by what’s between their legs and any gender stereotypes associated with it. If a transgendered female identifies herself as a man, then she will prefer to be referred to as ‘he’ and use the men’s room. This article’s photo is of Jenna Talackova who was a transgender Miss Universe Canada entrant.

As for transvestites, that’s just another term for cross-dressing which has little to do with transsexualism or transgenderism. A cross-dresser wants to remain the same sex and gender that they were assigned at birth but they get their sexual kicks or other form of fulfillment from dressing up in opposite sex attire. Most cross-dressers are men who like frilly knickers and floral dresses. It’s a fetish as opposed to a complete change in identity and their sexual orientation will vary from cross-dresser to cross-dresser.

Are Trans People Gay or Straight?

Homosexuality means being sexually attracted to someone of the same sex so a transgendered person is only gay if they are attracted to someone who is the same sex to the sex that they identify as. Confused? Let’s take a look at the case of Cher’s son Chaz whose sex change was made into a documentary a few years ago.

Chaz was born biologically female and for most of his adult years, lived as a lesbian and he was in a long term relationship with another woman. Chaz eventually realised however that he identified himself as a man and made the decision to transition which his partner supported. The couple stayed together for some time after the sex change but eventually broke up. Although Chaz stopped being a woman and therefore a lesbian, his partner was still attracted to women and no doubt found it difficult to be with someone who was essentially now a straight man. On the other hand, had Chaz been heterosexual but transitioned into a man then he’d certainly be considered gay.

In short, you should disregard the sex or gender that the transgendered person was assigned at birth. Just ask him or her what their sexual orientation is rather than guess or assume. There are just no black and white answers where sexual orientation and transsexuality is concerned.

Why Is It So?

There are many scientific theories about why some people identify strongly with the sex or gender they were not born with and we can only encourage you to do your own reading if the issue is of interest to you. Transgenderism is quite topical though so it’s worth having some understanding of it, especially if you actually got to the part above about cross-dressing and learned something completely new.

For most people though, there’s no need to get too bogged down in the science of it all. If a trans person simply says they are female then she’s a ‘she’ and no further discussion should apply unless you’d like to get to know that person much, much better. Which leads us to…

Getting Sexy with a Transgendered Person

If there’s anything we’ve noticed on RedHotPie over the years, it would be the growing interest in meeting and playing with transgendered people. While we do appreciate the curiosity factor, we do stress that you approach any trans person with respect as we hope you would with anyone else on RHP.

The best thing to do when you decide to contact a trans person is to ensure that you have read their profile carefully. Most trans people will be fairly open about their situation and state what it is that they are seeking from other RHP’ers and what they want to do. Even so, the key is to never make any assumptions. If you’re not sure about something, it’s best to ask politely to avoid any awkward moments later on.

In terms of ‘how’, again it’s best not to assume that sexy relations with a trans person is a specific sort of experience. You might be hot for the idea of a sexy female with extra fun bits but there are many trans women who don’t include their penis in play or have other preferences that may rain on your sex parade.

Finally, while RHP offers a blanket member type (TV/TS) to cover this diverse group of people, if you do decide to write to someone in this category, please ensure that you note which gender they appear to be identifying with and address them accordingly. Conversely, many trans people choose either a M or F member type which is entirely up to them. If they do pick one or the other, you can take that as a clear indicator they identify as that particular gender and would like others to do so too.

A desperate Turkish man living in Germany has turned to the police for protection from his insatiable wife’s constant demands for sex, authorities said on Wednesday.

The man came to his local police station in southwestern Germany on Tuesday saying that he had been sleeping on the sofa for the past four years to escape the clutches of his wife of 18 years and mother of their two children.

“Now he has decided to get a divorce and to move out … in the hope of finally getting some rest, particularly as he is anxious to arrive at work well rested,” police said in a statement.

“At the moment this is impossible because he says his wife keeps coming into the living room demanding that he perform his marital duties. He asked for police help in getting some sleep at night.”

Gaga who? Acting goddess Helen Mirren is here to remind us that she was the original thespian wild child – by getting her boobs out for New York Magazine.

“It’s weird when your life becomes vintage, like a period movie,” she told the mag. “I’m getting less notorious as I get older. People forget that I ever was.”

Helen, who turns 65 next month, is often celebrated for her timeless beauty and acting chops, but those unaware of her early career don’t know she was causing a stir with controversial film roles in the 60s and 70s.

These days, she’s stoked that new generations of girls are out there workin’ it.

“I’m thrilled young girls are claiming their sexuality for themselves,” she said. “I love bold women: Madonna and Scarlett Johansson — sexy and gorgeous, but not only that. And Miley Cyrus—fantastic!

“And Lady Gaga. I love the way she’s elevated pop to performance art, or dragged performance art down to pop, or maybe made a wonderful amalgam of the two.

“My girls: Miley, Scarlett, Lady Gaga. My team… Yes.”
