If you are a proud owner of a penis, you’ve probably googled all about it.
For instance, how does your manhood compare to others, how can you make it bigger? What penis size do women prefer?

Since questions on this topic are so common, and answers to them really are hard to find, sex researcher Dr Justin Lehmiller set out to answer them.

Here are answers to at least 5 of the most common questions about penis size as answered by science.

Hoping your questions are answered below:

1. What’s the average penis size?

It is impossible to definitively say what the average penis size is, there has been little to no research on the topic. Lehmiller, however, found some scientific literature that analysed the size of over 15,000 penises from around the world and found that the average penis size when erect is:
Length 5.2 inches

Width 1.5 inches

If you’ve been worried that you’re smaller than average, hopefully, this puts your mind at ease.

2. Are there racial differences in penis size?

Once again, because there isn’t much research on penis size and how it varies between races it’s hard to say. Based on the above mentioned scientific research on penis size, it didn’t find any racial differences. In other words, it would seem as though most penises are pretty similar around the globe.

Those racial stereotypical beliefs are just a myth, race is not an indication of how much you’re packing.

3. Can you tell the size of a man’s penis from the size of his shoes?

We all heard the saying “You know what they say about guys with big feet…” but is there any truth to it?

According to a study in 2002, the answer is no. You cannot tell how big a man’s penis is based on how big his feet are. So, even dudes with tiny feet can have an impressive schlong.

But wait for it, because this might be unexpected!

There is some statistical correlation between the size of your manhood and your height, so, it looks like you can kinda tell how well-endowed a dude is by his height. Yay, to being tall.

4. Do women think bigger is better?

It really comes down to taste. Bigger, for some women is not always better.

Several studies have proven that the majority of women are totally satisfied with the size of their partner’s penis. Regardless if it’s on the smaller side or pretty big.

Plus, another study found that penis size makes literally no difference in sexual satisfaction in women. More to the point, when women were asked what penis size is best, women tend to pick an average size penis instead of a big one.

All that said, some women prefer big boys when they are in the mood for visual gratification or that is just their preference. Everyone is different.

5. How can I make my penis bigger?

There are all kinds of gimmicks out there in the market, and according to Justin Lehmiller, they don’t work.

So invest your efforts in something that does work. Know what works for women, what makes them orgasm. Whether your well-endowed or lacking in the trouser department, what matters is that you pay attention to your partner’s pleasure and size then doesn’t really matter.

The truth of the matter is that the penis size is only one small piece of the sexual equation.

There’s much more to satisfying relationship and sexual confidence than the size of a penis…. Or is there?

What are your thoughts? Does penis size matter to you? Or is it all relative?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

NEVER before has a member of the male species wished for a smaller manhood. Until now.

Japanese pole vaulter Hiroki Ogita will be ruing the size of his phallus after it caused him to foul during the qualifying rounds in the men’s event in Rio.

Ogita was attempting to clear a height of 5.3 metres in group A of the first round of the pole vault, when his leg came in contact with the bar. As he began to drop back down towards the ground, his shin grazed the bar, causing it to wobble dangerously.

But it was his penis that delivered the final blow. Already unsteady, the bar was dislodged from its holdings when Ogita’s old fellow decided to make an appearance and slap the metal. The vaulter’s arm then collected the bar as it began to fall.

Video footage showed the crushing moment the 28-year-old was let down by his trouser friend.

https://youtu.be/zv8F66C7SCs?t=2s

Unfortunately, the foul effectively cost Ogita a place in the final.

Despite clearing the height on his second attempt, the Japanese athlete was only able to make a height of 5.45 metres with his last jump, which left him in 21st place, ending his campaign in Rio.

What a way to end your Olympic dream: thwarted by the one thing no man ever wants to let him down.

If the death of Julius Caesar is the ultimate story of betrayal, this is a close second.

What’s up with dick pics?

Let’s say you get a text message, excited for what you’re about to receive, then lo and behold – a dick pic.

Is it simply an act of cheeky candour, a prank, or malicious gesture toward an unsuspecting party or maybe a call for acceptance?

Women are more aware and acquainted with issues of negative body image. However, the male counterparts have only recently been exposed to the ridiculous pressures of body image. And yes it includes their junk!

We all want to feel okay about our bodies, and even about our junk. This insecurity is right across the boarder, regardless of whether men are packing micro-members or python schlongs.

These insecurities might be in regards to their size, shape, look, taste and smell of their dicks. Then there are the aesthetic anxieties about scares, curving, colouring, freckles, etc. All these worries before they even get to the good part – sex.

The dick pic phenomenon that has gone viral is just a cry for acceptance. Girls, men want your genuine feedback it seems. Hold on right there.
Let’s all grow up and stop this nonsense dick pic guys. We are all adults here and we are all made to feel bad about our genitals. That’s how our sexually repressed society is at the moment and we are hoping for change.

This obsession we have with the phallic is ridiculous and the fact that we call it manhood is not going to stop man define themselves around their tool. Tool is definitely a better term; it expresses exactly what it is. A tool for self pleasure and pleasuring your partner.

To appease your insecurities we hope that this video on ‘Penis Size’ will help put some of your insecurities to rest gentlemen. The majority of women are more concerned with how you make them feel in bed rather than the size of your schlong. So stop stressing about your penises guys, women just want you to show them a good time.

Gentlemen your member is a beautiful thing, so just embrace your many differences and start loving your man appendage that can bring so much joy and pleasure to you and your lover. Whatever you got packing down there, it’ll make for a breathtaking sight to any red-blooded heterosexual woman who likes to have sex, pic or no pic.

Penises are attractive, more so when they’re attached to someone you are attracted to, but as a disembodied penis, not so sure. Check the forum thread The dick pics

We know, it’s biological; men are compelled to flaunt their feathers. We think it’s cute. There is really nothing wrong with penis pictures in and of themselves. But unless we’re intimate with you, we don’t want to see your junk. Might be an idea to consider timing, sending a dick pic can be a healthy form of sexual expression. Send it when you have established a connection with the lady in question.

Just for laughs, Comedian Phoebe Robinson, produced a dick pic parody! The video ends with the salesman saying: ‘so call now, make an appointment and get the pictures your dick, and the women you barely know, deserve.’

Apparently, men’s penises suffer a dramatic size change at different stages of a relationship, well at least in the eye of the beholder seeing through the lenses of love.

Love is blind; it stops us us from perceiving flaws in our loved ones. Scientists have shown that there is a degree of truth in the old adage that love is blind. They have found that feelings of love lead to a suppression of activity in the areas of the brain controlling critical thought. Once you get close to someone, the brain decides the need to assess their character, personality and their penis size is reduced. Other people will tell us of obvious flaws, such as how plain looking they are, the limb in their walk, the false eye and yet no matter how intently we look our ‘love eyes’ tell us a very different story.

Cass Anderson makes a very good point and even has an infographic to help put his view forward.

This infograhic depicts the life of your penis size in a relationship. Your girlfriend you just met slots your alter-ego into an average tool but as her feelings grow and she falls for you, your beloved package suffers a make-over, it suddenly goes from average to legendary. Love is blind, all right.
If your relationship should go sour so will your reputation as a legendary lover along with your status as ‘hung like a Greek God’. Kiss it all goodbye and hopefully you won’t share too many friends in common…

Bottom line gentlemen is that if she’s in love with you there’s nothing you could possible do wrong, you’re the a God of love in her eyes equipped with a massive love tool the envy of all her girlfriends even if you fall in the small penis size department.

To have sex or not to have sex on your first date, that is the question.

A new set of dating guidelines, have been circulating and challenging conventional wisdom, by telling women it’s fine to have sex on their first date.

It’s obviously not a rule of thumb, but if sex presents itself on the first date and the chemistry is right, why not go for it? Sex on the first date just means you fancied each other enough at the time. Besides sex is always more exciting when you do it in that moment of explosive lust, sex is also great when you love someone but a bit different.
Having sex on the first date shouldn’t deter anyone from pursuing a relationship quite the contrary especially if the sex is great it might make both parties keener.

Some of the reasons for having sex on the first date are valid and also practical:

Determine Sexual compatibility.

Assess from the onset your sexual compatibilities. We are all into different things in bed, and if your newfound love has interests that are really ‘out there’, like fetishes such as Autonepiophilia (infantilism) or Podophilia (feet worship) and you’re pretty straight laced, then you better off finding out straight away and move on.
However, if during the date you found out that you don’t really like each other but you find each other hot, the sex might be amazing and you might’ve found yourself a FWB.

Penis Size.

This is an issue that might be nice to get out of the way straight way. Imagine investing a certain amount of time with someone you like but doesn’t measure up to the task. The sooner you know about his package the better. Especially, if you’re one of these women who achieve vaginal orgasm and the right penis size is the only thing that’s going to get you there, then let’s be practical and meet the ‘main actor’ immediately.

There’s no needless build-up.

Courtship can be fun and awkward at the same time because of all the sexual tension in the air. Having sex on the first date eliminates all this anxiety and also does away with all the pretenses and you can start being you from the beginning.

No wasting time.

Dating can take up a lot of your time and effort, so why go through countless dates only to find out that you’re not really sexually compatible with each other. If you’re not compatible with each other having sex on the first date will make this amply obvious. It might be awkward but think of the time you saved yourself and the disappointment you might have spared yourself.

If you happen to find someone who you like and are sexually compatible you might even end up falling in love. Plus a relationship has a better chance of lasting in the long run with super sex and amazing compatibility.

There are still those who are strong advocates of holding back on the first date and taking it slow. What comes to mind is the old saying ‘For different folks different strokes!’
Ultimately, only you can decide for yourself if sleeping with a guy on a first date is a good idea for you and what you want from him after the sex is over.
Guidelines to dating are not set in cement and therefore each and every experience has a set of different approaches that each individual sees fit on the occasion.

Are you for or against on sex on the first date? Let us know your views please.

What penis size or shape is normal?

Most men wonder if their penis size and shape is normal.

Men’s penis seems to be the defining element in what constitutes being male, the ultimate definition of masculinity. Even in this supposedly liberal century, the aesthetic look of men’s sex-tool has a tremendous effect on their sexual lives.

Though the vast majority of men have more then enough size to perform well as lovers, there’s still to today the masculine obsession that ‘the bigger the better’.

‘I want a small cock!’ said no man EVER.’

When it comes to self-confidence, the thing that troubles most men is penis size. Every man wants to know if his ‘sex-tool’ is good enough or not.

In the hope to relax the vast majority we’ll investigate and try to answer some of most frequently asked penis questions.

What is the average penis size?

A common myth is that the penis size varies by race and age. Everyone has heard the myth that African Americans are supposedly better endowed.
Studies show that this isn’t absolutely true, there may be exceptions, but by far, men across all races fall into the average penis size range of 5 -6 inches (12.7-15.24cms) when erect. With an average thickness of about 3-5 inches (7.5 – 12.5cms)

Age, has no correlation with penis size.
Several studies have shown that there is no difference in penis size between old and young men.

What do women think of penis size?

Believe it or not women don’t really spend a lot of time worrying about penis size. Women worry more about relationship issues and about how they are treated in the relationship. If a woman feels sexually satisfied, feels loved, respected and desired, penis size is secondary. Women value more a man’s personality and personal hygiene much more than his penis size.

The exception to the rule is when women are geared into sexually fulfilling a sex fantasy; to be with a man who is better endowed then the norm. In cases like this the proverb “the bigger the better’ is the fantasy.

What is the ideal shape of a penis?

Penis shape varies greatly between penises. A penis with a bend is very common. The penis is neither a bone nor a muscle. It’s erectile tissue that fills up with blood to get hard, therefore it can take a variation in whether it bends to the left or right or points straight out.

Some penis, have a round head; others look more like a hat or an arrow and even like a mushroom. Some are thicker on the shaft others at the top. Penis shapes come in a numerous range and all are normal. The simile of a box of chocolate comes to mind. In the greater scheme of things the universe didn’t want us to get bored.
Just as there are various shapes of breast so are there penis shapes.

What does a ‘normal’ penis look like?

There is a lot of pressure on man to measure up to the penis representation by the porn industry. What you see in the porn movies is not a true representation of the real world; most actors are freaks of nature and the minority.

Normal penis in the real world has a range of looks. Just as we all look different from each other so do penis from each other.

Penis can vary in a numerous ways; shape, colour, size. Some have protruding veins, others don’t. Some man are circumcised and others not and some man like to decorate their penis with piercings or even tattoos. With these numerous differences penis can only be different from each other. Normal is then variety!

Is my penis size too small or too big?

The size and shape of a penis has nothing to do with your success in sexually satisfying a woman. Vaginas are amazing things that are capable of stretching to accommodate what is placed inside it. This means that it will wrap around whatever the penis size. Therefore, it is not necessary to have a long penis or to thrust deep to give women pleasure.

It is the motion that will stimulate a woman to an orgasm. What is more interesting is that the pleasure nerves are only located on the outer one third of the vagina – any deeper and a woman will not feel it anyway. More still, the vast majority of the pleasure nerve endings, eight thousand of them to be exact, are in the clitoris, which is a big hint where you should be spending time on if you wish to impress your lady.

If you’re big and the envy of your male counterpart, thing to remember is that you need to start slow and let the woman get used to your big package and once she’s warmed up, away you go and have fun.

Know how to manipulate the situation to your advantage.

Don’t worry about the size and the way your penis looks too much, but do work on your moves and art of lovemaking – it’s all about technique.

Women will not even remember what your junk looks like as long as, the experience you left them with was mind blowing. It’s not the size of the tool but what you do with it that really counts.

At times it is hard to walk way from perception that a big penis translates to better sex. Visually, a big penis has the desired effect for a lot of women but with a little bit of skill and smarts you could avoid this by giving her oral and drive her wild with desire, till all she wants is to be taken and the last thing in her mind is the size of your penis.

Here are some stats about penis; women seem to prefer man with average penis size, 5-7 inch, as results show in the Australian Sex Census. Penis size and shape appear regularly on the RedHotPie forums for such a small organ in the human body it sure conjures a lot of debate.

RedHotPie TV has taken the street and asked you about penis size and the answers have been varied proving that there is lot of different opinions on what is an ideal penis size.

One only can conclude then that ‘Variety is the spice of life’.
Remember size doesn’t determine success, unless you work in the porn industry, which makes it then a prerequisite. When it comes to penis size, size does matter, to some women but not all women.

Hang on in there and love your man junk because there’ll be a lady out there who will be your perfect fit. Meanwhile play your cards well and be the best lover you can be. Stop stressing and start having fun.

Well, we’ve all either heard about or engaged in a heated debate around this question: Does penis size really matter to women? Curiously enough, despite how popular this topic is, science has never given a definitive answer, until now. A new study that was conducted recently in Australia suggests that, yes, size does matter. However before all you un-hung heroes out there start researching penis enlargements, the study found that bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better. Read on…

The study involved a group of women looking at and scoring the attractiveness of images of naked men, where different attributes (penis size being one of them) were digitally altered. What the scientists found was that whilst larger penis size did increase the man’s attractiveness to women, other attributes, such as height, were equally as important as penis size – and in some cases even more important – in determining a man’s physical attractiveness. Women found penis size more important for men that were taller, muscular or had broad shoulders and slimmer hips. They also tended to stare for slightly longer at the more well-endowed images of men.

One interesting thing that the study noted was that after a length of just under 8 centimetres (which is less than the average length of a flaccid penis), the importance of penis size became a less important factor in determining their attractiveness. This was when other physical attributes became more of a focus.

So what does all this mean? Well the scientists conducting the study did say that they did not come up with a combination that created the most ‘attractive’ man. Clearly, women’s tastes vary. Despite this, they also found that the most attractive size for a flaccid penis was over 13 centimetres. Many scientists believe that women’s preferences for a larger lover are rooted in cavemen times when clothes were non-existent and women chose partners based on how virile they looked.

Less than well-endowed? Don’t forget that when most women are choosing a partner, they don’t do it based solely on penis size. Every woman has a personal preference for the type of man that they like – and of course there is far more to a man than his member! It’s also important to remember that the study was based solely on physical appearance, not sexual activity. Whilst women might generally prefer the look of a well-endowed man, in the interests of comfort you’ll find that some women will happily choose an average-sized appendage over a huge trouser monster. There’s definitely truth in the old saying ‘it’s not about what you’ve got, but how you use it’ too.

I suppose that the jury is still out! Ladies, what’s your preference?

Not all women are concerned with a man’s penis size, says new research.

Only women who orgasm easily through intercourse are more concerned with size, according to a study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.

University of the West of Scotland psychologist Stuart Brody gathered 323 female students and asked them about their past sexual encounters, penile-vaginal intercourse, and whether penis length influenced their ability to orgasm.

What he found was that women who had a hard time climaxing through penetration, around half of the respondents, weren’t as concerned with penis length.

Dr David Miller, medical director at the WA Sexual Health Centre, says it’s not surprising old myths die hard, with organisations making $70 million a year by promising false fixes for dissatisfied men.

“There is a massive amount of good information available to men but, especially on the internet, a great deal of what you see is geared towards selling something.”

Miller says the three most common problems for men are erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and testosterone deficiency in older men, but popular research has had a big role to play spreading misinformation.

Women look for length

Russell Eisenman, from the University of Texas-Pan American, published the study Penis size: Survey of female perceptions of sexual satisfaction in which female university students were asked if length or width was more important. The majority of women chose width.

Although Eisenman used a small study group, there is more research to support the claims. Psychology Today surveyed 1500 readers and found men were far more concerned with the length of their penis than women. In fact, 71 percent of women thought men placed too much emphasis on the size of their penis and not enough on grooming.

“While I am not as concerned with the physical appearance of a male partner, cleanliness ranks as number one on my list,” a female participant commented.

Performance problems are for old age

Between the ages of 40 and 70, the percentage of impotent men doubles to around 60 percent. Miller says as many as half of all 50-year-old men experience erectile dysfunction.

He says it is important to realise that obesity and vascular health, which can cause heart disease, can affect penis functon and even size. Why? Blood flow to the penis declines with age and the ability for the penis to become erect is reduced by blockages in the blood vessels and reduced elasticity. The testicles are also prone to shrinkage after 40. The good news is that it won’t necessarily impinge on your lovemaking — a US study of 2213 men found that decline in penis function and size resulted in only a marginal decrease in sexual satisfaction.

But performance problems aren’t always medical, or age-related.

“Adrenaline is the biggest erection killer around,” Miller says.

“We get a lot of guys in their 20s who have had a bad experience and performance problems, and then they suffer anxiety because if that.”

He said the most common misconception was that only older men faced erection problems, when for various reasons it is very common in young men.

“Guys who are stressed or depressed can have a lot of pressure on them, and when it comes to performing sexually, Mother Nature just says it’s not the time.”

Drug use, even in teenagers, can also prevent males from getting an erection or reaching orgasm.

Guys with big feet have big penises

While many have tried, no studies have managed to convincingly link shoe size to penis length. A widely cited UK study conducted in 2002 concluded: “The supposed association of penile length and shoe size has no scientific basis.”

What followed was a flurry of questionable research, including a Korean study suggesting a correlation between finger length and penis size and a US paper concluding one’s penis size could be linked to nose length.

You can make it bigger without surgery

Unfortunately for some, there is no non-surgical technique to significantly increase size. Penis pumps may help create a stronger erection, but they will not create a larger penis. Studies from the Journal of Urology say this is because the penis is composed largely of spongy erectile tissue and not of muscle, which means it can’t be strengthened or ‘stretched’.

“Unfortunately even surgery might only offer marginal increases in size,” Miller says.

Penis enhancement saw serious growth over the last few decades, coming in the form of pills, patches, vacuums, gels, creams, oral sprays and stretchers. But most medical professionals will agree they make false promises.

“Eventually guys start to learn that taking care of your partner is not so much to do with size, it’s how you do it. But for a lot of guys being able to have an erection is a big part of their manhood and persona,” Miller says.
