Review:

Skin Two Expo

Redhotpie scouts were scurrying around London over the weekend, taking in the technicolour panorama of rubber and fetish goods for sale at the Skin Two expo on Saturday afternoon (and spending lots of money!), then pulling on their lushest latex outfits for the Rubber Ball that night. With so much on offer at the Expo, our eye was taken by two new latex brands – OvertClothing who make beautiful 1950’s-inspired couture for women, and Dvote Clothing who make fabulous rubber gear for men – their specialty being gorgeous rubber kilts. Mmm. One massive request for the Expo next year though: don’t do it over two venues again! Nobody liked it that way and it halved the people seeing the exhibits in total.

Rubber Ball

The Ball took place in SeOne nightclub, a labyrinth ‘under the arches’ admirably suited to this year’s theme of World of Fetish. The many rooms were dedicated to various international countries; even Australia had its own space! Our favourite though was the Opium Den, with low tables & cushions scattered over rugs – very comfy and great for admiring the beautiful people as they walked past. The fetish creations stalking the club were out of this world, from subs in full body bags & hoods, cyber punks, beautiful women in tight rubber sheath dresses and very,very high heels, to men in slick rubber kilts with nothing underneath (and boys, yes you can tell that especially when you’re getting a bit aroused!! Not that we were complaining…).

The Rubber Ball is all about fetish glamour & style, so it’s less dangerous and interactive than the edgy nights offered up by Torture Garden. We didn’t make it to TG but heard it was the usual extraordinary electric atmosphere. Skin Two promoters – the music was way too loud, for a Ball all about ‘meet & greet’, it was definitely difficult to chat.  If we had to make our choice, it would be TG… but then again, we’re making our debut to Subversion’s Fetish ‘Dance & Play’ party next month so watch out for our review of that…. we may become converts to a new faith!

Flaunt – Louche: 19th October

Flaunt have been busy doing what they do best; hosting erotic club nights full of sexy people grooving down to the some of London’s hottest house music.

The parties generally attracts 20 to 30 couples and is open to both straight & bi-fems, at a house with spacious accommodation in South east London. Get those sexy uniforms out and make sure you take everyone’s pulse!

Club Lick – Couples-only player’s night, Sat 27th October

This night is for couples who like to play and party hard, and with Club Lick promising a special house DJ, rocking the maddest house, electro and dance tracks all night, the soundtrack will be set!
Club Lick has completely refurbished the venue so everything is brand new; it has also been fitted with air conditioning so you can stay cool while getting hot.
The club is as much about partying and socialising as about swinging, so if you’re in East London get your booties down there and prepare for a playful night…

The Sydney chapter of Inner Circle have recently hosted yet anothe fantastic drinks night at the equilibrium Bar in downtown Sydney. Prima Nocta

In the heart of the Sydney CBD, the Prima Nocta Sexy P Party saw the year out with its final event for 2006, in absolute style.  The entertainment consisted of Bessie Bardot (MC), Suzie Q, Minx, Lee Lucas, Paulo, DJ Nobby and the grooviest funk band in Sydney – Martini Club. They all got into the theme of Sexy P and made sure it was a fantastic and memorable night. Everyone from the kitchen, bar, floor staff and security looked like they were having just as much fun as the patrons. Sydney will be looking forward to 2007 to see what else the Prima Nocta team can dream up as far as the next exciting event is concerned. To sum up the evening we can only say that the Prima Nocta Sexy P Party was P-errfect.

Perth Inner Circle
Once again the Perth Inner Circle have played host to Perth’s sexiest event with 200 guests kicked things of at the lavish Onyx Bar, Perth’s sexiest lounge bar. The Perth Inner Circle events offers a great opportunity for fellow RedHotPie members to get to know each other in a safe and luxurious setting, where the drinks flow freely and the conversations touch on the sexy and scandalous. New Club Paradise

Formaly known as Club Oz, THE most successful swing clubs in Australia which has become a institution in Western Australia,  Much more so was our surprise when we heard it was changing hands and being renamed. Fortunately the new and improved Club Paradise, has undergone renovations but still has its doors open for business. The renovations have added a lot to the sensual atmosphere of the club which explains the huge crowds that Club Paradise has been bringing through the doors over the past few weeks. With sexy pumping crowds like this, it is not long before this venue is restored to the the glory days as the best swing club in all of Australia. With such fabulous events such as the Indy Weekend at the Palazzo Versace 6 star resort it is clear these guys know how to orchestrate one hell of a sexy night out.
