Former topless model Samantha Fox is attempting to win back the fame she found in the 1980s, stripping off during her first appearance in an Australia-based reality show.

The 43-year-old Briton, who became a star as a singer and sex symbol in the 1980s, is currently a contestant in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

She reportedly plans to pose naked after her stint on the show and write a tell-all autobiography.

“I want the British public to take me to their hearts again,” Fox told the Mirror.

On the first day of filming Fox showed off her well-maintained figure as she took a plunge off a luxury yacht into the water off Queensland’s Gold Coast.

Billed as a swim through “shark-infested waters”, Fox and fellow contestant Gino D’Acampo were followed by jetskis and a shark-repelling sonar as they swam to a nearby island.

Fox later placed a water spider on her tongue for 30 seconds to win another challenge in the competition.

Fox, who famously was rumoured to have dated Australian conman Peter Foster, is now openly homosexual — and is set to wed girlfriend and manager Myra Stratton.
