They are Australia’s swinging podcast superstars, Al and Eli, or as they are quickly becoming known, The Aussie Swingers. After years in the lifestyle, both at home and abroad, the paired-up podcasters are spreading the love with their chat show, swinging holidays and general awesomeness. We recently sat down with Eli to discuss their rising star and swinging around the world!

(RHP) Tell us about you first experiences in the lifestyle.

(Eli) I had always been bi curious and we met a very sexy lady whilst living overseas who I had my first full experience with. The only problem being, she was a Lesbian, so Al didn’t get a look in. We knew when we got home that it was something best experienced as a couple and we went to a local Lifestyle friendly resort to explore. The rest is history. We then looked for local couples, attended some events, Lifestyle cruises and visited overseas Lifestyle resorts and almost six years later, countless experiences and Lifestyle events later, we’re still going strong.

How did those first experiences come about?

From the beginning, RedHotPie was our wingman. We used The Pie for all our events and parties and now we’re happy to give back by taking groups to overseas events this year. We’ve been to many Lifestyle resorts, cruises, events and clubs internationally but it was really RHP that started us off.

When did you know swinging was the lifestyle for you?

Really when we met each other. We had both just come out of marriages where sex, trust and intimacy issues were prevalent. We were like two horny teenagers again in our early 30’s and vowed to enter and develop a relationship with absolute honesty. We communicated openly from the start about what we wanted to try and it was on both our sexual bucket lists to explore elements of the Lifestyle. It has opened up a whole new world of incredible experiences, deepened our levels of trust and respect and has taken our relationship to a whole new level.

What are some of the things couples should consider and discuss when getting into swinging?

I think ultimately your motivation for doing it. It’s something to add to the relationship not something to replace it. If there are any cracks in your relationship, embarking on this journey will turn them into deep chasms. Also ask yourself, is your communication on point? I mean real communication, where your fears and insecurities are easily discussed and not used as ammunition later.

What are some of the sexiest scenarios you’ve experienced while swinging?

There have certainly been a few and they take many different forms. I do remember being a human sundae on a Lifestyle vacation, covered with chocolate sauce, whipped cream with a cherry on top and being devoured by an entire resort full of couples.

We’ve participated in ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ style events which were incredibly sexy and erotic, and had beach bed sex with 3 other couples under the stars in Mexico.

Sometimes though, the sexiest times can be great food, wine and conversation with a couple whom you deeply connect with, which leads to the most incredible sex. And when this is an ongoing connection, with multiple play dates, the sex just gets better and better. We identify with being sapiosexual, attracted to peoples minds, intelligence and personalities first and foremost.

Tell us about your podcast, how did that come about?

The podcast became an extension of our Blog www.TheAussieSwingers.com We have done video reviews (Vlogs) previously on Lifestyle resorts and cruises, but we wanted to make it more personal and portable and the podcast is a great way to connect with people. At last count we’re being listened to in over 90 countries which is beyond out expectations and downloads just keep growing.

From week to week, what kind of subject matter are you covering?

Anything you can imagine. We get a lot of emails from listeners about their issues in Swinging or about topics they’d like to see raised. We see ourselves as a voice for the Lifestyle Community. We also talk about our Lifestyle travels around the world, sexual health, sexual issues, parties and also regularly interview prominent Lifestyle identities. We try to provide a classy, balanced and fair opinion whilst also protecting peoples privacy. Discretion is paramount in the Lifestyle.

You’ve done some work with the Playboy team in the States, that sounds exciting, tell us about that.

We’ve had a great relationship with our partners at Playboy TV for a number of years and more recently Playboy Radio. We have appeared on Playboy Radio’s “Swing with Holli and Michael” (the most famous Swingers in the world). They have really opened up the world of Swinging to the public with their reality TV show “Swing”, set in a beautiful mansion, where a ‘newbie couple’ enters the house for a weekend to explore what the Lifestyle has to offer. Get a trial here (http://theaussieswingers.com/Swing) and download away, there are over 40 episodes of it, great for sexy weekend viewing.

You’ve done some travelling too, tell us about some of your favourite swinging events around the world.

We’ve been to so many, but our top two would have to be Desire Resorts in Mexico and Lifestyle Cruises out of the States. It’s such a treat to be able to completely immerse yourself in the Lifestyle for 7 days straight and just let go of the ‘real’ world. This is why there are so many repeat guests to these places. It is incredibly addictive.

We’re also really excited to Host a group on behalf of RedHotPie ((http://theaussieswingers.com/RHPNIN) at Naughty in N’awlins this year the largest Lifestyle Convention and also the Bliss Cruise in November. Palm Springs is also a favourite and closer to home, Passion in Paradise is a must do event as well.

Is the swinging culture similar in other countries, or do cultural differences extend to the lifestyle?

From our experience, swinging is inherently similar around the world, the differences lie with the openness and acceptance of it, country to country and state to state and couple to couple even. The Swinging population the US for example far exceeds any numbers we could imagine here and it’s reflected in the number of clubs, events and takeovers available there. At the end of the day though, wherever you are from, the international language of love surpasses all barriers to communication.

Where do you want to take your swinging media work in the future?

We see ourselves continuing to podcast (http://theaussieswingers.com.iTunes) as we’ve developed quite a following already. We’ve also been asked to present Swinging seminars so that is on the agenda, and who knows, we may even feature on RHP’s Red Talks. We look forward to continuing our hosting duties and bringing RHP to the world.

Ultimately, wherever it takes us, we want to provide honest, relevant and reliable content that people enjoy and can relate to. Whether you get to experience these places yourselves or just live vicariously through us, we hope to make a difference in showing the world that Swingers are regular people, educated, intelligent, class and sexy.
