MEG Ryan made it look easy in When Harry Met Sally, but women who have difficulty achieving orgasm are paying thousands of dollars a year on G-Shots to improve their sex lives.

Clients of BeautyFULL Cosmetic Clinic at Mt Gravatt, in Brisbane’s south, have more than doubled in the past three years, with as many as two women a week now paying $900 to have their G spots injected with dermal fillers. The treatment, which first became available in the US, aims to enhance sensitivity, which can make it easier to reach orgasm.

Dr Margaret Scruton believes she is the only doctor to offer the service in Queensland.

“This is made for women who have normal sexual function but who don’t orgasm every time,” she said.

“There are a lot of women who don’t want to fake it … anymore, and for them, this could be the answer.

“Clinical trials have shown it’s effective for 87 per cent of people, although we do warn clients that it might not make any difference.”
The G-Shots last about four months and Dr Scruton says she has clients who return several times a year.
